today

so. how am i? what have i been up to? i’m not sure. it’s been a while since i’ve had the time to sit down and write about it. today i am doing good. and it’s a day by day thing.

work has been hectic. we are building these amazing outdoor showers. well, they used to be “outdoor” showers. now they are kind of indoor with an open window looking out. and a huge redwood deck wrapping this old oak tree. pictures forthcoming. and then their is the sanghata sutra recitations.

to benefit the centers lama zopa rinpoche has asked that we try to recite the 76 page sanghata sutra 150 times by july 15th. that was two weeks ago. i’m not sure how much reading aloud you’ve done since they stopped making you read pages from the book in high school to the entire class, but it’s really difficult. at least for me. especially when you are trying to pronounce things like: avabhasashri and phrases like: 2,000,000 million followers. it’s 76 pages of tongue twisting, basically. i’m only half way through one recitation. some people have done around 10.

oh, and have i mentioned that we are having a baby? that’s nuts. christina is really starting to show. doctors appointment tomorrow. we’ll see how that goes.

we’re planning to move back to montana in late september. after kirti tsenshab rinpoche’s visit. he’s this really high lama who all of my teachers have great respect for. plus it’s kind of the end of the season for vajrapani. we’ve got all of these boxes everywhere. we’re sending a few boxes back every few weeks. one of the grandmothers is then delivering it to our storage unit. i’m hoping to make a little trip out of return home. still working on the itinerary, but it will take around seven days.

photos of the diamond mountain trip will be posted soon.
