she goes slowly

Daechen, our daughter, moves across the floor slowly. She sees absolutely no need to crawl. She’ll watch something for a few minutes while playing with her current toy then scoot her little butt further. It’s a very very slow and methodical way to play. Only occasionally does she seem to get frustrated with her lack of mobility. Then she just throws a big fit and refuses to move at all.

I’m trying to just sit out the fits to see if she figures out that she can move around more on her own. For the last ten months it hasn’t worked. We usually wind up giving in and helping her out. You never know one of us may have a break through one of these days.

I feel like I go through life the opposite of her, in a way. I jump to things I desire too quickly. When I get there I have a fit. It’s never what I wanted. Never. It doesn’t really matter what it is. However, right now it would seem that we bought a motorhome that is the cause.

We might still really want the motorhome. We are unsure. We pick it up on Saturday. Then we don’t know what we do with it.
